Watershed Land Cover Analysis
Mapping and analysing land cover change across the Bluewater Basin
This lab extends the Bluewater Basin environment with a land cover analysis focus. You will use GIS methods to map land cover across the catchment, analyse how land cover relates to terrain and hydrology, and explore change over time. The lab introduces raster data handling, land cover classification, and spatial overlay analysis.
What you will learn
Skills developed
Dataset
Synthetic land cover rasters for the Bluewater Basin at two time points, plus terrain and watershed boundary vector data. All synthetic and clearly labelled.
